'May your day go down in history'
Our venue was previously part of a WW2 American airbase and now has hidden on site the ‘389th Bomb Group Memorial Exhibition’.
The exhibition is a commemoration of the contribution made during WWII by the 389th Heavy Bombardment Group of the 2nd Air Division of the US Army Air Force. It is housed in the original Chapel/Gymnasium building which is the only major building from the ‘camp’ area of Hethel Airfield (Station 114) to remain. There are now also 2 recently reconstructed Nissen Huts which have extended the display space and added facilities for visitors. The exhibition is a registered charity (No. 1089013)
As a special offer to the Bride and Groom and a small party of guests we are offering the opportunity to take a peek back in time with an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition.
This opportunity is only available by prior arrangement and will take approximately 30 minutes with short walk from the event venue. Appropriate footwear e.g. wellies or flat shoes (no high heels) should be worn as there is rough ground to walk over.
£100 (£40 of which will be donated to the memorial group)
